Welcome to The Gooseberry Review
A guide to help you turn inspiration into action so you can build your beautiful ideas forward with confidence and clarity.
I feel most like myself putting words together on paper, looking through a camera and spending time offline. And I’m so grateful that you’re here, because I don’t really do social media anymore (gasp! I know…) but I love to share and explore ideas, and connect with brilliant minds, like yours, more intentionally. This little newsletter allows all those things to happen in a really beautiful way.
I always wonder how readers find the books, authors and words that they love. Is it research? A happy accident? Fate even? I like to imagine that you’ve stumbled upon this humble anthology because a friendly stranger chatted with you about how to love a book while riding the subway or a dear friend gushed about calm being the key for magic at a recent brunch date; and now that you’ve arrived, you like these heartfelt scribbles enough to visit regularly (or even perhaps subscribe below, oooh!) However you found your way to this, thank you truly for being here!
So what is The Gooseberry Review all about?
The Gooseberry Review is a lovingly designed space to motivate and uplift those who dream of leading creatively satisfying careers and lives. It’s all about nurturing inspiration into action.
That’s the poetic version. The day-to-dayness of it all is a warm hodgepodge of essays, anecdotes and heartfelt scribbles exploring how to make creative working and living more achievable in your everyday. There will be typos and grammar hiccups and sporadic publishing schedules, because life is messy and unpredictable. And the topics will bounce here, there and everywhere because I think it’s more interesting that way.
My hope is that this feels like a friend dropping by for a quick chat over coffee tea, leaving you with renewed motivation for your dreams.
My pledge is to protect these pages;
NO ads, NO paid partnerships, NO sneaky sales speak.
Just musings about creative working and living, and a quiet space to let your imagination breathe.
If you’d like to learn more about me and this space, please feel free to hop over here.
